Limited Shopping Experiences
The Teacher Resource Center (TRC) is open monthly during the academic year, for a limited number of shopping experiences.
Wednesdays & Thursdays from 3 pm - 6 pm
Saturdays from 9 am – 2pm

I’ve been accepted to the TRC, now what should I do?
How often can I shop at the TRC?
Teachers accepted to the TRC may schedule one shopping experience per month.
What should I bring with me?
Every teacher must bring a photo ID to every shopping appointment. We also reccommend bring 3-4 large reusable bags!
How long will I be able to shop?
Each appointment allows for 1 hour of shopping time.
What if I can’t make my appointment?
Reasonable notice is expected if you cannot attend your scheduled shopping experience. Please notify Briana at briana@scrapskc.org with any scheduling needs.
You must provide notice within 24 hours of your appointment time to avoid a “no show.” Teachers with two “no shows” will have their shopping privileges revoked.
How do I change my scheduled appointment?
Log in to your account and click on the "Modify Schedule" button or contact Briana at briana@scrapskc.org
Can I bring someone to shop with me?
Due to space, children, partners, spouses, other teachers, etc. are not able to shop with you. Please note, children may not be left unattended in the ScrapsKC store while you are in the TRC.
Teachers who require medical assistance may bring a shopping companion for assistance. If you need to bring a guest to your appointment, you must provide notice. They must wait in a designated waiting area while you shop.

Can someone else shop for me or use one of my monthly shopping experiences?
Only teachers who have been approved for this program are allowed to shop in the TRC.
