Limited Shopping Experiences
The Teacher Resource Center (TRC) is open monthly during the academic year, for a limited number of shopping experiences.
Wednesdays - Fridays from 3 pm - 6 pm
Saturdays from 9 am – 3 pm

I’ve been accepted to the TRC, now what should I do?
How often can I shop at the TRC?
Teachers accepted to the TRC may schedule one shopping experience per month.
What should I bring with me?
Every teacher must bring their school, photo ID and 2-3 large reusable shopping bags to every shopping experience.
You will be denied access to the TRC without your ID.
How long will I be able to shop?
Teachers may shop for the hour they signed up for.
What if I can’t make my appointment?
Reasonable notice is expected if you cannot attend your scheduled shopping experience. Please notify Ssarah at sarah@scrapskc.org with any scheduling needs.
All teachers who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without reasonable notice will lose their eligibility to shop at the TRC for the remainder of the academic year.
How do I change my scheduled appointment?
Log in to your account and click on the "Modify Schedule" button or contact Sarah at sarah@scrapskc.org.
Can I bring someone to shop with me?
Due to space, children, partners, spouses, other teachers, etc. are not able to shop with you. Please note, children may not be left unattended in the ScrapsKC store while you are in the TRC.
If you have a medical need and require assistance, please contact Sarah at sarah@scrapskc.org 24 hours before your shopping experience.
Can someone else shop for me or use one of my monthly shopping experiences?
Only teachers who have been approved for this program are allowed to shop in the TRC.
